About the Team

Zoom’s Information Technology team is dedicated to delivering customer happiness, enhancing business efficiency, and fostering agility through innovation, data insights, and automation. Our impact is evident in seamless user experiences, streamlined processes, and supporting Zoom’s growth in communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize relational and non-relational databases for high-performance applications.

• Write and maintain complex SQL queries, triggers, and stored procedures while optimizing performance through caching, partitioning, and query tuning.

• Implement and manage cloud data solutions using Snowflake, MongoDB, Apache Spark, and Apache Airflow.

• Develop scalable software solutions in Java or Python, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a globally distributed environment, providing technical leadership and mentoring.

• Troubleshoot and innovate, resolving performance issues while staying up to date with emerging technologies and best practices.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science with 8+ years in Software Engineering, specializing in relational and non-relational databases.

• Expertise in SQL (queries, CTEs, triggers) with advanced skills in query tuning, caching, and partitioning.

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, MongoDB, Apache Spark, and Apache Airflow.

• Proficiency in Java or Python with advanced knowledge of data structures and algorithms.

• Excellent communication skills, technical leadership, and ability to work in cross-functional, geo-distributed teams.

• Knowledge of subscription business processes is a plus.

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$124 000,00

Maximum:

$271 200,00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
