Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting required. J.D, MS in Taxation or working towards a degree is preferred. CPA certification is desirable.
  • Minimum of three years of tax experience in federal income taxation with emphasis on U.S. tax law as applied to corporations and with the application of U.S. tax law to foreign operations of U.S. multinationals preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills and knowledge of OneSource preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, & FTC calculations.
  • Assist with International tax compliance.
  • Assist with quarterly ASC740 provision calculations for multiple foreign entities and support global consolidated provision and financial reporting to include calculations of RTPs, booking journal entries, and executing SOX controls.
  • Work and support tax planning team with international tax planning projects, including financings, restructurings, liquidations, acquisitions, and repatriations.
  • Assist in co-developing Pillar 2 processes.
  • Collaborate with business units and various corporate departments to gather information.
  • Keeping abreast of law changes relevant to Xylem on a quarterly basis (tax rate changes and other rule changes that impact the Xylem tax profile).
  • Assist in the implementation of tax technology initiatives and help identify improvements that streamline processes.
