Responsibilities

• Annotate large volumes of image and video data, focusing on identifying vessels, objects, environmental markers, and other relevant elements
• Ensure labeling accuracy and consistency across the dataset, adhering to annotation guidelines and quality standards
• Collaborate with the data science and engineering teams to refine labeling protocols and enhance labeling tools
• Provide feedback on data labeling processes, identifying areas for improvement in data quality and workflow efficiency
• Conduct regular quality checks and reviews of annotated data to ensure alignment with project requirements
• Participate in team meetings to stay updated on project goals, timelines, and quality benchmarks

Qualifications

• Experience in data labeling or annotation in computer vision, image processing, machine learning, or related field
• Basic understanding of maritime environments or experience labeling for autonomous systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across large datasets
• Familiarity with data annotation tools like Labelbox, CVAT, or similar
• Ability to follow specific guidelines and meet project deadlines
