Responsibilities
  • Assist course instructors in designing evidence-based teaching practices for the course instructors’ classes.
  • Assist course instructors in implementing evidence-based teaching practices in the course instructor’s class, either in class, workshop, or lab.
  • Meet with the course instructor at least once a week to provide feedback and plan for the next week’s tasks.
  • Guide students in the course instructor’s class as they learn course material.
Desired Qualifications
  • They must have successfully completed qualifying STEM courses for which they are applying to be Learning Assistants, unless otherwise approved by the course instructor.
