Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in a Technical field; or equivalent related professional experience
  • 3+ years' experience in software development or similar role
  • Strong technical proficiency in Java or Kotlin
  • Knowledgeable in modern API frameworks, including REST and GraphQL
  • Hands-on experience in GraphQL, including schema design, API development, and client-side querying
  • Some familiarity with Javascript or Typescript and knowledge of design systems and component libraries for scalable UI development
  • Excel in effective verbal and written communication
  • Passionate about learning, especially in the areas of technology, service design patterns and system architecture
  • Bring a solid foundation in Agile/Scrum development practices

  • Design and implement reliable, high-performant features to improve the shopping experience
  • Implement holistic solutions to bring consistent experience between platforms
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain standards of code quality and scalability
  • Advocate for engineering excellence, exceptional usability, and outstanding quality
  • Write automated tests and work across data sources to integrate them into a scalable tech stack
