Amentum is seeking an experienced Engagement Planner to lead and participate in planning activities, assess engagement opportunities, and recommend strategic engagements for Commander, Navy Information Operations Command, Pacific (NIOC-P). This role involves overseeing high-level planning processes, integrating strategic communications, and coordinating with various military and governmental entities to ensure alignment with INDOPACOM cyber operations objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and lead Joint and Full Spectrum cyber network/range events focused on USINDOPACOM priorities.
- Coordinate with higher headquarters, DoD, US Government (USG) agencies, interagency partners, and international counterparts.
- Provide expert briefings and updates to senior leaders on planning progress and engagement outcomes.
- Generate and recommend new engagement activities for military and governmental leaders.
- Draft high-quality messages, talking points, and briefings tailored to GOFOs and senior officials.
- Develop and implement a targeting-like methodology for engagement opportunities.
- Ensure all engagements are aligned with Command objectives and strategic priorities.
- Demonstrate strong capabilities in mission analysis, analytic problem solving, and strategic/operational recommendations.
- Contribute to the development of policy and strategic recommendations based on thorough analysis and assessment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Political Science, International Relations, Military Science)
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in military planning, strategic communications, and engagement planning.
- Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility and current CI Polygraph. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information to high-ranking officials effectively.
- Experience in coordinating cyber operations and understanding of cyber network/range events.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree and/or attendance at Service Command and General Staff College
- Experience coordinating with other Department of Defense (DoD) entities, including the Joint Staff, the Office of the Secretary of Defense and INDOPACOM’s Service Components as well as non-DoD organizations such as DHS and State Department.
The salary range for this position is $140K to $165K. (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
