Requirements
  • The candidate must have a hands-on technical background in HVAC service, installation, or maintenance sufficient to evaluate and support Field Supervisors on technical matters.
  • The candidate must have at least 7 years of experience in HVAC field services, including meaningful experience managing supervisors or managers rather than only individual technicians.
  • The candidate must have experience managing a multi-team or multi-crew field operation.
  • The candidate must have experience owning key client account relationships in a service-industry context.
  • The candidate must communicate effectively across technical, client-facing, and executive-reporting contexts.
  • The candidate must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
  • Personally own and manage BCR's key and strategic account relationships, serving as the senior escalation point for issues Field Supervisors cannot resolve.
  • Own portfolio-level account retention by tracking renewal risk, satisfaction, and service performance across BCR accounts.
  • Identify and pursue expansion opportunities within the existing account base, including additional buildings, service scope, and contract upgrades.
  • Set account service standards and pricing guidance for Field Supervisors and technicians.
  • Oversee day-to-day BCR field operations across all three Field Supervisor teams, ensuring consistent service quality, response times, and account coverage.
  • Drive consistency across the three Field Supervisor teams through shared standards, technical practices, and account-handling approaches.
  • Directly manage, coach, and performance-manage the three BCR Field Supervisors.
  • Lead hiring for the open Field Supervisor requisition and future Field Supervisor or technician positions.
  • Build supervisor capability so each supervisor can run their crew with autonomy and ensure consistent performance standards across all teams.
  • Report portfolio-level account and operational performance to Operations leadership.
  • Use data to identify at-risk accounts, underperforming crews, and staffing gaps before they become escalations.
  • Own BCR field operations' contribution to revenue and margin through pricing guidance, account profitability, and labor efficiency.
  • Provide input on staffing and growth planning.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operations.
  • Ensure field work and account agreements align with contract requirements, codes, and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee technician certifications, licensure, and safety practices at the portfolio level.
  • Mitigate risk through consistent scope definition, safety standards, and contract execution across all teams.
Desired Qualifications
  • HVAC licensure or certification, such as EPA 608 or a relevant trade license.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, ServiceTitan, or similar customer relationship management and field service tools.
  • Existing relationships with property managers, brokers, or facility stakeholders in the New York City market.
  • Prior experience building a supervisor layer as a field operation scales.
