What You’ll Do

• Partner with the Release Manager to identify and coordinate testing for on and off-hour deploy events, and improve that test coverage. Deploy events may start late evening Pacific time
• Partner with Engineering and Product teams to understand features and determine necessary testing to ensure high quality products
• Identify, log, and track issues as part of projects and releases
• Create, maintain, and run integration, functional, end to end, performance automated testing, whether locally or through a build system. Troubleshoot and diagnose any errors and failures
• Perform exploratory and manual testing as necessary to support automated testing and product needs
• Partner with Engineering leadership to drive a strategic vision for developing, enhancing, and maintaining tools/applications for a test automation framework supporting automated functional testing using a combination of off-the-shelf and custom built-systems
• Partner with Engineering leadership to drive requirements, evaluate, and recommend test automation tools and packages
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineers in test design and coding. This includes code reviews and pair programming
• Provide detailed documentation and training on automation tools and applications

What You’ll Need

• 3+ years of JavaScript programming experience. Python experience is highly desired. The interview process will include coding exercises
• 3+ years of experience using Cypress to create, run, and troubleshoot automation scripts for testing web sites, services, and mobile applications. Experience with Selenium and Appium are highly desired
• 5+ years of QA and testing experience with a comprehensive understanding of manual and test automation concepts and methods
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision
• Fluency in the product life cycle, including software development methodologies
• Demonstrated ability for complex problem solving
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field or relevant work experience


Preferred Experience
• Experience testing mobile applications
• Experience with load, performance and resilience testing (tools like Chaos Monkey)
• Experience with continuous integration build tools like Jenkins
• Experience with AWS and Docker

What We Offer
The base salary range for this position is $120K to $160K/year.  Offered salary will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.  Business Wire reserves the right to modify this salary range at any time.
