Requirements
  • High school diploma required; Vocational High School or Technical Diploma is a plus
  • Must be a US citizen and able/willing to obtain a government security clearance
  • Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions and documentation
  • Comfortable working with a computer
  • Commitment to learn and develop new skills
  • Security clearance is required (application will be done through ADI)
Responsibilities
  • Ability to work 8 hours under the microscope utilizing miniaturized hand tools such as tweezers and fine screwdrivers
  • Assembly of microwave subassemblies using hybrid techniques
  • In process inspection and self-inspection
  • MMIC Die attach of chip components using silver epoxy
  • Hybrid circuit assemblies using silver epoxy and solder
  • Hand solder components, wires, and jumpers into the assemblies
  • Ensure work areas are kept neat, clean, and organized per company guideline
  • Assemble and/or solder electronic components to printed circuit boards
  • Good dexterity, eye / hand coordination
  • Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets, prints and drawings
  • Good computer skills are required to support retrieval of drawings and work instructions as well as other job activities
Desired Qualifications
  • 1 to 3 years working as a Micro assembly/Mechanical assembly
  • Experience performing microscopic soldering of electronic components, including surface mount devices (SMDs), through-hole components, and fine-pitch components
