This is a full-time role working within the Data Discovery and Enrichment Organization at LexisNexis. As a Senior Data Discovery and Enrichment Expert I, you will have anin-depth understanding of best practicesfor creating training data and evaluating output of AI models.You willuse your expertise in the legal domain to createadvanced insights and recommendations from these tasks that are critical to creating the best features and products for our customers.You willbuild the expertise to lead complex projects within the Data Discovery and Enrichment Organization.

Data Discovery and Enrichment Experts are subject matter experts in the legal domain, playing a key role in leading the transformation of legal technology. They partner with data scientists, data engineers, and product managers to create cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions with legal data. Performing advanced legal research and analysis
Communicating actionable feedback and insights
Executing best practices in the creation and maintenance of training data and relevance evaluations
Collaborating with internal partners across a variety of different roles
Coaching and supporting junior Data Discovery and Enrichment Experts
Participating in presentations to internal stakeholders
Advocating for Responsible AI
Have a Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree
Have advanced professional legal experience
Be competent in advanced legal research and writing
Have experience in coaching and mentoring others
Be a natural problem solver
Have a customer-centricmindset
Be able to leadcomplex projects
Have an intermediate understanding of machine learning and natural language processing technologies
Have significant experience using Excel, PowerPoint, and other similar programs
Have in-depth knowledge or understanding of agile and lean methodologies
