Requirements
  • Ability to manage up to 75 pounds.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, on-call assignments, various schedules and shifts, and overtime as needed.
  • Ability to perform work requiring minimal supervision and independent judgment.
  • Ability to maintain appropriate licenses, training, and certifications.

Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain plant facilities and production equipment.
  • Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs for facility and production lines or equipment during production and machine service, and perform scheduled maintenance repairs as needed.
  • Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
  • Apply mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic mechanic skills to troubleshoot and repair plant facilities and production lines or equipment.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service on plant facilities and production lines or equipment.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test systems, and make adjustments on plant facilities and production lines or equipment.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on plant facilities, production machines, and equipment.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, electric meters, and material-handling equipment.
  • Detect faulty operations and defective material and report them, along with unusual situations, to appropriate supervision.
  • Maintain clean and orderly work areas in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Follow Good Documentation Practices.
  • Network across business and functional units to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to others.
  • Make recommendations for new or revised processes and participate in implementation.
  • Provide guidance to less experienced team members.
Desired Qualifications
  • A high school diploma, GED, equivalent credential, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • Four or more years of experience are preferred.
  • Past automation line experience in a manufacturing facility is strongly preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude is preferred.
