elasticStage provides on-demand manufacturing and distribution for vinyl records and CDs. Artists upload music and artwork; when customers order, elasticStage manufactures and ships directly to the buyer with no minimums or upfront inventory, using a revenue-sharing model. The company uses a patent-pending cold process that does not involve traditional pressing or PVC, opting for PETG and a first-generation recording approach to save energy and reduce chemicals. It differentiates itself through on-demand production, sustainability, and partnerships with major labels and DSPs to help independent artists reach fans directly.

EmuBands

Your music on vinyl (without the risk) at EmuBands.

Your music on vinyl (without the risk) at EmuBands. 24th March 2026 EmuBands has partnered with elasticStage, the world's first on demand vinyl and CD platform, to remove the financial and logistical barriers that have traditionally locked independent artists out of physical formats. On-demand production with zero upfront cost. Through this partnership, EmuBands artists and labels can now create, sell and ship vinyl and CDs worldwide with no upfront costs, no minimum orders and no inventory risk. In other words, fans trigger production by placing an order, while elasticStage handles production, fulfilment, mechanical licensing and customer support from start to finish. Traditionally, manufacturers require large pressing runs and significant upfront investment. However, this new model replaces that approach with flexible, made-to-order production. As a result, independent artists can offer their full catalogue in physical formats without overproducing or selling out. Global reach, instant access. Already, elasticStage supports more than 100,000 artists and ships vinyl and CDs to over 90 countries worldwide. In addition, the platform charges no sign-up or onboarding fees. This means artists can start uploading and offering physical releases to fans immediately. Notably, artists such as Boy George, Don Diablo and Nelly Furtado use the service, alongside GRAMMY-winning producers Paul Epworth and Dan Grech-Marguerat. "We started elasticStage because we believed physical should be within reach for every artist, not just those with the infrastructure to support it. Partnering with EmuBands brings that vision to a scale we're genuinely excited about: thousands of independent artists who can now add vinyl and CD to their release strategy without the barriers that used to make it impossible." - Emma Banks, Head of Growth, elasticStage This means EmuBands artists can create a new direct to fan revenue stream and allows physical releases to align with tours, viral moments and campaign activity, without upfront costs. This partnership signals a shift in how independent artists and labels approach physical music. Instead of facing a costly logistical challenge, they can now treat physical production as an accessible and scalable revenue channel.
