Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required; a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or an equivalent field is preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience in the field or a related area.
  • Hands-on expertise in Oracle SOA Suite, MFT/AS2, EDI, and Microsoft BizTalk.
  • Working knowledge of web services, message queues, file transfers, databases, SQL, stored procedures, remote procedure calls, ETL, and EDI standards.
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong proficiency with personal-computer applications for large datasets, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to lead onshore and offshore technical teams.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-departmental teams.
  • Ability to facilitate team discussions to derive solutions.
  • Ability to work independently, self-direct efforts, meet deadlines, and produce consistent high-quality work.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Own middleware platforms supporting integration needs for critical applications and business processes.
  • Elicit system-integration requirements through interviews, document analysis, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, and workflow analysis, and use them to contribute to system design.
  • Facilitate technical discussions and design sessions with the technical team.
  • Participate in developing integration solutions for new systems and enhancements in accordance with agreed architectural designs, and provide development guidance to the technical team.
  • Lead discussions involving design, capabilities, alternative approaches, risks, schedules, and options for the team's information-systems services.
  • Communicate discussion outcomes to application technical teams.
  • Perform change-lead responsibilities for upgrades, patches, releases, production schedules, and disaster-recovery plans affecting middleware integrations.
  • Organize and maintain required documentation across system-integration projects and activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues as an expert-level support resource.
  • Provide education and training on documentation and design standards to stakeholders in participating systems.
  • Lead activities involving customers, team members, and external stakeholders, and manage customer expectations and requirements.
  • Lead delivery of detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
  • Ensure integrations are developed according to GxP and SOX regulatory standards, meet schedule requirements, and satisfy functional specifications.
  • Ensure custom code and interfaces include controls supporting information-systems standards, data privacy, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
