Requirements
  • 7+ years work experience and B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
  • Demonstrated hands-on assembly of complex Battery systems at high rates
  • Demonstrated experience in statistical process control and GD&T
  • Experience developing production lines from prototype to mass production
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience with CAD, PLM, MES, and ERP software
Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of the High Voltage Battery production system
  • Apply expert level knowledge of High Voltage Batteries and manufacturing process
  • Drive the Design for Manufacturability efforts with the product design team
  • Conduct process failure mode and analysis (PFMEA) for the Battery production system
  • Develop specification for tooling and automation equipment
  • Oversee Final Acceptance Testing of manufacturing equipment
  • Support supply chain development and procurement
  • Create/approve work instructions for Battery assembly and installation
  • Support first unit builds and testing of the production system
  • Own upgrades and continuous improvement projects
