Requirements
  • Two or more years of experience as a warehouse specialist, preferably with parts experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Proficient computer skills and experience with tracking and shipping programs.
  • An acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to operate a lift truck, hand trucks, a stretch-wrap bander, and PB crimp tools.
  • Ability to make pickups and deliveries to suppliers using a company truck or van.
  • Detail orientation, time management, organizational, teamwork, communication, initiative, follow-through, safety, and accountability skills.
Responsibilities
  • Receive daily shipments and maintain clear and accurate records.
  • Physically unpack, examine, and route incoming shipments.
  • Report shortages, reject damaged items, and process returns or credits.
  • Accurately match orders with packing slips.
  • Move materials to designated areas using lift trucks and hand trucks.
  • Operate stretch-wrap banding and PB crimp tools.
  • Make pickups and deliveries to suppliers using a company truck or van.
  • Aid the parts department in fulfilling shipping and stocking needs.
  • Manage warehouse inventory orders and returns and maintain detailed records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience as a warehouse specialist with parts experience is preferred.
