Administrative Assistant Senior

Under limited direction, provides advanced administrative or technical support to a department or group of professionals. Responsible for daily office and fiscal management duties to include collecting, compiling, and analyzing moderately complex data and information as needed. May lead or mentor lower level team members.

• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines.
• Possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• Seven (7) years related experience is required.  
• Healthcare-related experience is highly preferred.
• Will accept five (5) years of experience with Associate's and three (3) years of experience with Bachelor's.

This position may require the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure per Texas EO-GA-48.

1. Provides administrative support to 60 CRNA faculty, including processing providers' reimbursement and travel requests.
2. Assists with IT/asset management and prepares and submits vendor/contract invoices.
3. Provides complex administrative and clerical support including all routine correspondence, mailing, scanning, faxing, faxing and copying and maintaining filing system.  
4. Prepares complex reports, correspondence and presentations.  
5. Answers phone calls and responds to inquiries.  
6. Manages calendars, schedules and coordinates meetings, appointments and travel arrangements as assigned.  
7. Maintains office supplies for the department.  
8. Assists with the daily operations and fiscal activities of the department.  
9. Performs all other duties as assigned.
