Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the AEC field, such as civil engineering or construction management.
  • A strong career interest in construction consulting, estimating, and project management.
  • Comfort working full time in both office and field environments.
  • Willingness to travel locally and work within or atop damaged buildings, including roofs.
  • Ability to perform physical activities including climbing ladders up to 30 feet and lifting up to 50 pounds, including a ladder.
  • Sufficient visual acuity to prepare reports, use computer equipment, read documents, conduct detailed visual inspections, perceive color and depth, and carry out inspection duties.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with site visits to collect measurements, photos, and project details.
  • Support the analysis of labor, materials, and timelines for project estimates.
  • Help track costs and flag differences between projected and actual figures.
  • Learn to prepare professional reports and data entries in estimating tools.
  • Gain exposure to Xactimate and Bluebeam Revu.
  • Participate in training modules, an Expert Speaker series, a Capstone presentation, and a Team Leader review.
