  • 7+ years of experience selling into or operating product and growth areas of enterprise health plans/payers.
  • Deep understanding of the US healthcare ecosystem and the challenges payers face.
  • Knowledge of where cost inefficiencies live within the healthcare system and how to improve them.
  • A track record of success in sales in high growth stage environments over a sustained period.
  • A broad network of relationships within the health plan and Payer communities.
  • Experience consistently securing contracts with Payer organizations – largely selling at the senior executive level.
  • Bachelor's degree in business and/or sales, or equivalent training.
  • Ability to travel frequently as required.
Responsibilities
  • Expand Paytient’s footprint through direct contracts with Payers across the U.S., helping Payers leverage Paytient’s offerings to drive their business strategies and member outcomes.
  • Proactively find new opportunities in your territory comprised of top 60 health plans, including expansion of some already under contract.
  • Define the strategy for how to best drive growth for Paytient connecting our value to their needs.
  • Own enterprise-wide, cross line of business payer relationships.
  • Manage complex contractual, technical, and financial details to support the sales process.
  • “Land and expand” by transitioning closed sales into partnership opportunities. Collaborate with Paytient’s customer success and broader account teams to transition new customers onto the platform.
  • Facilitate collaboration between your payer accounts and Paytient’s partner ecosystem to accelerate our opportunities.
