Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical assembly and integration of components and subsystems
  • Contribute design input during development efforts
  • Provides guidance, technical direction, analysis and support for the design, development, integration, testing, documentation, implementation, and sustainment of any of a variety of hardware
  • Install and route electrical components including connectors, sensors, power modules, control units, and communication devices
  • Assist with the creation and refinement of manufacturing documentation such as wiring diagrams and technical data packages that support prototype replication and integration activities
  • Fabricate and modify cable assemblies and wiring harnesses as required
  • Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB assembly drawings
  • Perform continuity checks, voltage verification, and functional testing
  • Support configuration control by maintaining accurate build and test documentation
  • Solder a wide range of electronic components including through-hole, SMT, and fine-pitch packages including 0603, 0402, SOT-323, QFP, etc.
  • Operate and maintain pick-and-place machines to populate PCBs with components according to design specifications.
