Requirements
  • At least 7 years of experience leading a high-volume floor.
  • At least 3 years of experience owning performance metrics for a telesales or high-conversion operation in a complex, high-objection environment such as annuities, life insurance, mortgage insurance, or a similar field.
  • Experience improving a live operation measurably through incentive compensation, training programs, and quality assurance systems.
  • Experience running floors in regulated environments.
  • Onsite availability in Houston or willingness to relocate to Houston.
Responsibilities
  • Own the scorecard for adherence, occupancy, conversion, average handle time, quality, talk-to-listen ratio, and member outcomes; set targets, publish dashboards, and report the story behind the numbers to leadership weekly.
  • Build call playbooks for warm openings, reading hesitation, working through resistance, and guiding members toward health actions; coach the team through calls.
  • Audit call flows, escalation paths, quality assurance frameworks, and performance management processes; run daily huddles, weekly pipeline reviews, and monthly business reviews.
  • Partner with Learning and Development and Compliance to ensure agents are licensed, trained, and prepared before live calls, and remain proficient through AI-assisted training and agent co-pilots.
  • Design compensation and recognition structures that encourage conversion to member action, quality, and adherence, and pair them with daily, weekly, and monthly agent scorecards.
  • Lead supervisors and team leads who run the floor; build a high-performing, accountable, and engaged workforce; coach employees in the moment while developing them and maintaining standards.
  • Partner with Clinical Operations, Stars, Quality, and Marketing on campaigns, target lists, and call flows that improve Medicare Advantage metrics and member health outcomes.
  • Partner with Compliance on Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services marketing rules, Telephone Consumer Protection Act requirements, scope of appointment, call recording, and member communication standards.

This performance stood out amongst the 12 health insurance providers tracked, which collectively saw share prices fall 6.2% since their latest earnings despite revenues beating consensus estimates by 2.8%.
