Job Description

Our Hardware team is responsible for all phases of product development, ranging from component research, Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) design, simulations, layout, prototyping and electrical validation that leads to the high volume manufacturing (HVM) of Solidigm’s Solid-State Drives (SSDs).

As Hardware technician, you will be responsible for optimized component placement on PCB and layout/routing PCB designs while working closely with Hardware Engineers. A hardware technician will work closely with cross-functional teams during the pre and post-design phase for smooth development of products and to meet product schedules.

Qualifications

• You must possess these minimum qualifications to be considered for this position.

• An associated degree or equivalent.
• Layout experience in designing complex PCBs.
• Hands on experience with lab tools such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and soldering equipment preferred.
• Good analytical skills and ability to understand and communicate complex concepts.
• Strong planning and documentation skills.
• Good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Able to effectively work independently or in a team environment.
