Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering.
  • 10-15 years of quality inspection experience in upstream oil and gas, refinery, polymer, and petrochemical industries.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to articulate technical challenges and progress effectively.
  • Proficiency in remote collaboration tools and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • An independent and proactive work ethic.
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to work in a global, multicultural environment.
  • Flexibility in working hours to accommodate different time zones.
  • Ability to observe company, client, and governing-authority health, safety, sustainability, environment, and quality rules.

  • Ability to maintain the HSSEQ management system and the tools required to implement it.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and update the SQS management matrix per Level IV, III, and II QSA.
  • Review the curricula vitae of proposed third-party inspection candidates and approve them based on their experience.
  • Prepare quality surveillance assignments and assign third-party inspectors.
  • Conduct supplier pre-qualifications according to the client's procedures and checklists.
  • Participate in kickoff meetings to review supplier quality and inspection requirements.
  • Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies and suppliers for smooth execution of inspection stages.
  • Review vendor quality documents such as inspection and test plans and quality management system documentation.
  • Arrange and conduct pre-inspection meetings.
  • Review and distribute inspection reports and releases, maintain a log of third-party inspection activities, and clear concerns raised during inspections.
  • Coordinate factory acceptance tests and participate in virtual factory acceptance tests.
  • Manage supplier nonconformance reports, maintain the nonconformance report log, and monitor corrective and preventive actions based on nonconformance comments.
  • Attend weekly SQS and quality meetings with the client and IOL.
  • Attend supplier RAIL meetings and provide quality and inspection input.
  • Process and approve third-party inspection invoices.
  • Perform other ad hoc tasks within the reasonable scope of the role as directed by a supervisor or manager.
