Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization, including the ability to influence internal clients and follow up on routine requests for information.
  • Fundamental accounting and finance concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • The ability to self-motivate, multitask, meet time-sensitive deadlines, and follow through on open items until fully resolved.
  • The ability to partner with diverse teams and learn from others.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 products, including Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Comfort with or willingness to actively use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Claude as productivity partners.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the full accounts receivable and accounts payable cycle with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support daily and monthly treasury functions.
  • Translate transactions and post deposits using the accounting software environment.
  • Research and resolve commission discrepancies.
  • Ensure process workflows are accurate for billing accounts and track receipts and approval backup.
  • Accurately enter numeric and alphanumeric information into systems and validate outputs for accuracy.
  • Prepare monthly statistics, metrics, and account reconciliations, and review account status to ensure accurate and timely payments.
  • Triage department emails and draft month-end communications.
  • Generate and submit billing invoices for reimbursable client expenses, determine allocations, and follow up on payments.
  • Engage directly with sales teams to manage high-volume food trade show events and related client follow-up.
  • Scan deposits using a bank scanner and save document copies to SharePoint.
  • Process checks received by mail daily.
  • Actively leverage approved AI tools to streamline research, draft communications, summarize data, and improve workflow efficiency.
Desired Qualifications
  • Two or more years of professional experience in addition to the degree.
  • Experience with Intuit Enterprise Suite or QuickBooks Online.
  • Hands-on professional experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or ChatGPT.
  • Experience with automation applications such as SAP Concur, RAMP Expense Management, or similar platforms.
  • Exposure to Power BI and Adobe Pro.
  • Prior experience in a structured, deadline-driven close process, such as in a public company, multi-entity organization, or agency environment.
