The Payment Services department provides training, ongoing support and development to colleges, schools, units and researchers; strategically address sourcing, contracting, revenue generating opportunities and payment needs, while safeguarding for the highest-level of qualified and diverse supplier performance. Purpose

We are seeking a detail-oriented and forward-thinking university student to join our Payment Services team. In this role, you will support day-to-day operations across key service areas—including payments, independent contractor, travel reimbursements, and cash advance activity—by assisting with payment voucher processing, handling cash transactions, and providing general administrative support. You will also help format and enhance training materials and assist with analyzing online data related to payment activities. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and eager to learn while contributing to continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing, reviewing and approving of payment vouchers.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Assist with formatting and enhancing training materials for payment services
• Assist in analyzing online data related to payment activities.
• Provide general administrative support.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a forward-thinking mindset.
• Basic proficiency in Excel or other spreadsheet software, and strong communication skills.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Salary Range

$15/hour
