Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 2.8
  • Authorized to work in the United States without Sponsorship now or in the future or CPT/OPT through your University.
  • Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s/Masters/MBA/PhD program at an accredited US based university or college
  • Must be a Rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in undergrad or a Graduate or Doctoral Student
  • Must be enrolled full-time in the Fall Semester at an accredited university/college after the completion of the internship
  • Must be able to complete a 10-12 consecutive week internship between May and August
  • Must be able to relocate if necessary and work at the designated site for the duration of the internship
Responsibilities
  • Under the supervision of a Global Virology Regulatory Affairs liaison, the intern will work with various team members in the Gilead Foster City team to support regulatory submissions in the United States and potentially other countries for marketed and/or investigational products.
  • Interns will assist with regulatory submissions and activities, including but not limited to potential submission of health authority correspondence, clinical study reports, study protocols, protocol amendments, and assist with the preparation of annual reports and DSURs.
  • As opportunities permit, interns may also be able to assist with key NDA filing documents like Priority Review and certain Module 1 documents.
  • Interns may also be involved in researching regulatory requirements and provide information necessary to teams in different development stages to aid in strategic decision making.
  • In addition, the intern will conduct regulatory precedence-based research and may present monthly at team meetings.
  • Interns will have the opportunity to showcase their work with a final poster board presentation near the conclusion of their internship.
