Requirements
  • At least one year of experience in a fast-paced office environment or reception.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Word.
  • Attention to detail, thoroughness, and accuracy when processing data-entry tasks.
  • Ability to provide personalized customer service.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
Responsibilities
  • Process orders for custom blinds and curtains and balance finances from contract pricing to manufacturer’s suggested retail price pricing.
  • Accurately enter order data.
  • Follow up daily with decorators and suppliers.
  • Receive courier orders from the loading dock and safely shelve merchandise in the warehouse, including lifting 30–50 pounds.
  • Respond promptly to customer calls and emails in a positive, customer-focused manner.
  • Collaborate with the team and ask for assistance when needed.
  • Meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Complete other administrative tasks as required or requested by the Supervisor.
  • Interact with customers in the blinds gallery, discuss the department, and offer in-home services from an experienced Decorator.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Office 365, or Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience with workflow systems such as Monday.com.
  • Bilingual French and English communication skills, written and oral.
