Requirements
  • Ability to work overnight shifts (1 week on, 2 weeks off).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ETL development using Ab Initio tools in a Data Warehousing environment.
  • At least 4 years of experience in production support projects.
  • Strong skills in Unix and SQL.
  • Proficiency with Control-M or any other similar job scheduling tool.
  • Experience with BMC ticketing/reporting tools.
  • Basic knowledge of Azure cloud.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Enterprise Data Warehouse.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and/or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
  • Support Enterprise Data Warehouse using ETL tools like Ab Initio.
  • Handle production support operations, including incident management and independently triage root cause analysis of issues. Perform L1 and L2 production support 24x7.
  • Communicate effectively on production support issues and manage tickets, resolutions, and reporting metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Maintain and enhance production support documentation.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide training and support to junior team members as needed.
