Requirements
  • Strong academic performance in law school
  • Completion of 1st or 2nd year of law school
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills
  • Detail oriented, strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to learn in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Letter of Recommendation from a law school professor or graduate school instructor a plus
  • Knowledge of computer software, networks, and Internet policy
  • Experience in negotiation, litigation, and compliance
  • Comfortable presenting to and interacting with C-suite executives
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Legal Team with all matters faced by the company. This includes an enormous array of issues ranging from commercial contracts, building business practices, data rights and privacy, to immigration and litigation
  • Conduct legal research on a variety of legal topics including: intellectual property, data protection and international regulation
  • Respond to various legal requests from our users, customers, and third parties in relation to Cloudflare services
  • Participate in the maintenance of internal knowledge databases for the legal team
  • Review and provide input on documentation and agreements
