Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments; experience in the windows and doors industry is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, with ISO 9001:2015 preferred.
  • Experience with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and root cause methodologies such as 8D.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and process discipline.
  • Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Data analysis and reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to work in a combination of office and manufacturing plant environments, with occasional site visits and extended hours as required.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements that may include lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Flexible schedule with occasional weekend commitments.
Responsibilities
  • Support and sustain production processes to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Lead investigations into quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Conduct and coordinate audits, inspections, and testing of materials, processes, and finished products.
  • Maintain quality documentation, including non-conformance reports, inspection records, testing records, and calibration records.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and other regulatory standards.
  • Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, internal teams, and external partners to resolve quality concerns.
  • Approve or reject procedures, specifications, and test results impacting product quality.
  • Support internal audits and ensure alignment with Quality Management System requirements.
  • Support and guide the Quality Assurance team in daily operations and quality initiatives.
  • Partner cross-functionally to achieve quality objectives and resolve issues.
  • Lead root cause analysis and ensure proper documentation and follow-up actions.
  • Facilitate meetings to review quality performance and improvement initiatives.
  • Promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
