Requirements
  • The candidate must be available to start in September 2026.
  • The candidate must be able to sign an internship agreement with a university.
  • The candidate must be available for a six-month internship, preferably full time, at 35 hours per week.
  • The candidate must be in the final year of a degree or master's program in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Agricultural Engineering, or a similar field.
  • The candidate must be able to travel independently to the work center in Colmenar Viejo.
  • The internship is remunerated.
Responsibilities
  • Support the production team in managing, monitoring, and continuously improving the street cleaning and municipal waste collection service.
  • Support the implementation, monitoring, and optimization of digital tools and technology platforms for service management.
  • Participate in collecting, analyzing, and reporting operational data to improve decision-making.
  • Collaborate in monitoring contractual compliance and supervising service performance indicators.
  • Support the preparation of management reports, improvement proposals, and operational optimization plans.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and workshop teams to control machinery, including monitoring inspections, consumption, vehicle inspections, and incidents.
  • Participate in planning and organizing human and material resources with service managers.
  • Contribute to improving operational and logistical processes by identifying efficiency and sustainability opportunities.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, bids, occupational risk prevention, quality, and environmental departments to ensure correct service execution.
  • Support the development of innovation initiatives focused on digitalization and improving service performance.

  • Ability to work autonomously and motivation to grow within an international company.
