General Surgeon

About this role:
As a Physician in General Surgery, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience at a Level I Trauma Center. In this role you will perform on hernia operations, breast cancer surgeries, laparoscopic appendectomies’, foregut, gallbladders and emergency surgeries.
·This position includes a $30,000 sign-on bonus, up to $20,000 in relocation assistance based upon distance, a generous salary plus, production incentive and an annual bonus incentive based on continuous improvement
·You will practice at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT with 2 days in clinic and 2 days in the OR

What you’ll bring:
·MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine, required
·ACGME Residency training in General Surgery, required
·Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery or Abdominal Wall Reconstruction is a plus
·Proficiency in robotic surgery required; Robotic Certification is plus
·Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery, required
·Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one, required
·Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process, required

Life in the Murray, UT
Murray City is centrally located in the Salt Lake Valley about 8 miles south of Salt Lake City.
