Requirements
  • 0-2 years’ experience preferred
  • 1-2 years experience of Active Directory and/or Epic preferred
  • Epic Security Proficiency completed within 6 months required
  • High School/GED required
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 1-2 years relevant epic security experience and/or technical experience will be considered in lieu of degree
  • RN, PT, OT, MA, LPN. preferred
  • Healthcare experience in hospital, medical practice, or health system preferred
  • Application specific certification/proficiency within 90 days of hire if applicable required
Responsibilities
  • Provides first tier support to application users and supports the integration of Identity and Access Management requirements relative to governing logical access control for person and non-person entities to networks, applications, and systems
  • Answers questions or resolves application problems for clients in person, via telephone or electronically
  • Troubleshoots issues impacting operational workflows for providers and end users
  • Acts as a liaison between the end user and epic application analysts
  • Participates in testing activities, executes test scripts, and documents for test scripts
  • Demonstrates ability to grasp basic concepts of application-specific systems to support Go Lives, test scripts, documentation during installation and upgrade activities
  • Integrates methods to improve current operations, interoperability, and internal staff processes
  • Responsible for performing research, conducting analysis of alternatives, identifying gaps, and identifying use cases
  • Ensures adherence to and provides input on policies and procedures in the area of IAM; access provisioning, authentication, and authorization; Governance, and Compliance
  • Works closely with members of IT, HR, and Business teams in creating and automating efficient, consistent, and scalable processes
  • Responsible for protecting Cooper information by ensuring that only the appropriate people and processes have access to the right data at the right time
  • Frontline technical support to users
  • Creating and using standard operating procedures, FAQs, and job aids for new and existing applications
  • Documents and maintains the team’s workflow process. Process automation and scripting
