- Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program.
- Completion of an accredited Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowship.
- Board eligible or board certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
- Active or eligible state medical license.
- DEA registration or eligibility.
- Broad clinical expertise in hematologic and oncologic conditions.
- Strong clinical judgment and treatment decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and patient counseling abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
- Commitment to high-quality, compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Board certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology and Hematology.
- Active state medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with hematologic disorders and oncologic diseases.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and supportive care.
- Provide outpatient clinic care and inpatient consultative services as required.
- Monitor patient response to therapy and manage treatment-related side effects and complications.
- Order, interpret, and review laboratory studies, imaging, and pathology reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgery, radiation oncology, pathology, radiology, and palliative care.
- Participate in tumor boards, care coordination meetings, and quality initiatives.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, prognosis, and supportive care services.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation in the electronic health record.
- Participate in call coverage and after-hours responsibilities as applicable.
- Adhere to clinical guidelines, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
