Maintain client satisfaction and deliver preconstruction services on assigned projects according to company practices and standards.

Monitor the success, efficiency, and accuracy of department budgets, bids, and guaranteed maximum prices, and implement strategies to sustain departmental efficiency and accuracy.
Evaluate project risk during bid and guaranteed maximum price preparation and ensure pricing covers costs and supports project profitability.
Develop, review, and implement pricing strategies with business development, operations, and the department to support company goals.
Coordinate bid and guaranteed maximum price preparation with operations, ensuring appropriate operational input on general conditions, logistics, and project planning.
Work with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing and building information modeling services to develop and implement procedures and standards.
Prepare conceptual, schematic, design development, and guaranteed maximum price estimates for preconstruction activities and clients.
Maintain and adjust to the owner's budget as required to maintain the project budget.
Monitor design scope changes affecting budget or schedule, identify their causes, and advise the client for decision-making.
Keep clients informed of preconstruction progress and significant technical problems or solutions and their effects on design or costs.
Identify and promote solutions to problems that could impede project progress or adversely affect client and architect relations.
Lead value engineering and value enhancement efforts, including developing item lists, compiling ideas, and presenting information to clients.
Prepare or oversee materials presented to the owner, architect, or engineer on projects.
Lead and perform constructability reviews for projects where designated as the preconstruction manager.
About Your Opportunity You will lead and manage the preconstruction and estimating team for the region. You will provide the preconstruction services to clients from the time Wohlsen is pursuing, awarded, or hired for a project until the GMP is signed, and construction starts.You willbe responsible forclient satisfaction. You shall deliverpreconstruction services on all assigned projects while maintaining Wohlsen preconstruction practices and standards.
Responsibilities
Management of the preconstruction and estimating team.
Regularly monitor success, efficiency and accuracy of the department’s budgets, bids and GMP’s. Review and implement strategies to sustain efficiencies and accuracy of department work.
Evaluate risk on projects when department is preparing bids or GMPs and ensure pricing is developed in a way to ensure costs are covered and the project can be profitable.
Develop, review, and implement pricing strategies with the input of business development, operations and the department that support the overall company’s goals.
Coordinate preparations of bids and GMPs with operations and ensure that proper operational input is provided with general conditions, logistics and planning of the projects.
Work with MEP & BIM Services to assist with the development of procedures and standards and implementation for these service teams.
Prepare conceptual, schematic, design development and GMP estimates to support preconstruction activities and clients.
