Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing chemicals, batteries, energy systems, or other electrochemical hardware systems
  • Fluency in Six Sigma problem-solving method and tools
  • Experience in process development, yield improvement, troubleshooting, and introducing new processes and equipment
  • Experience in DOE, process capability, PFMEA, cycle time studies, and line balancing activities
  • Experience in developing and maintaining process documentation and SPC based manufacturing control plan
  • Experience in workforce utilization, space/tools requirements, workflow design, and equipment layout
  • Experience in root cause analysis of product defects and poor performance
  • Experience in automation and assembly
Responsibilities
  • Initiate and lead projects for process improvement
  • Support new product introduction and process optimizations
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement new equipment and procedures
  • Perform DOE, process capability, PFMEA, cycle time studies, and line balancing activities
  • Develop and maintain process documentation and manufacturing control plan
  • Analyze workforce utilization, space/tools requirements, workflow, and equipment layout
  • Determine root causes of product defects and poor performance
  • Lead project/subprojects
