Requirements
  • BS or MS degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Nuclear Engineering
  • 5+ years experience in engineering
  • Experience in nuclear industry or related fields
  • Thorough understanding of evaluation, design, and implementation of new technologies
  • Coordination skills including advisory, relationship, and stakeholder management
  • Ability to work in a small/start-up environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to problem solve efficiently
  • Prioritization of safety
  • Authorization by the Department of Energy to access Part 810-controlled information
Responsibilities
  • Develop licensing document content, programs, and supporting licensing related products and activities
  • Support license applications and pre-application meetings with the USNRC
  • Prepare licensing strategies and resolve key licensing issues
  • Coordinate safety analysis documentation and testing programs
  • Support NRC construction inspection program
  • Support project management and engineering teams
  • Identify and implement top-level regulatory requirements into design requirements
