What believers are saying

  • Intuitive added Centra Health in April 2026 and MUSC in June 2026.
  • UNC Health plans two North Carolina facilities after August 2025 approval filings.
  • Baptist Health opened Sellersburg in October 2025 and still has two sites under construction.

What critics are saying

  • Hybrid ER-urgent care depends on hospital partners; lost systems stall growth quickly.
  • Certificate-of-need fights delay openings, especially UNC's Raleigh and Apex facilities.
  • Private-equity ownership under Great Hill demands exit-ready growth; missed scaling hurts valuation.

What makes Intuitive Health unique

  • Founded in 2008, Intuitive Health pioneered hybrid ER-urgent care facilities.
  • Great Hill Partners bought majority control in November 2024, backing national expansion.
  • UNC Health, MUSC, Centra, and Baptist keep choosing Intuitive's operating model.
