Requirements
  • Relevant engineering experience in manufacturing engineering of printed circuit board assemblies, microelectronics, or similar manufacturing processes.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience for Level II, 4 years for Level III, or 6 years for Level IV.
  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or electrical engineering discipline.
  • Strong verbal and written technical communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, engineering drawings, and product specifications.
  • Basic knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • Strong analytical, fault isolation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in process design, development, and project planning in related fields.

Responsibilities
  • Work with suppliers and internal production organizations to develop, manage, and improve the printed circuit board assembly manufacturing process.
  • Validate new equipment and processes with suppliers and internal teams and continuously improve the production process.
  • Support printed circuit board assembly manufacturing processes and products.
  • Help the production team learn and understand die-bonding and wire-bonding assembly processes, skills, tools, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with functional groups to develop wire-bond solutions that meet business needs.
  • Provide training in die assembly, wire-bond technology, problem analysis, and resolution.
  • Estimate manufacturing costs and determine time standards for tooling and process requirements for new or existing product lines.
  • Manage work instructions, process documentation, and training within the organization and with suppliers.
  • Identify trends and opportunities to optimize product output, enhance quality, and reduce cost of manufacturability.
  • Provide feedback to the engineering design team to improve design for manufacturability.
  • Identify, determine root causes of, and correct surface-mount technology production and testing issues.
  • Drive corrective actions and process improvements on owned processes and products.

  • Knowledge of mechanical assembly of channel amplifiers, linearizers, or other precision microwave parts and ability to provide microwave integrated-circuit assembly technical support.
  • Knowledge of mechanical assembly involving housing fabrication for high-reliability radio-frequency applications.
  • Knowledge of microwave integrated-circuit assembly involving brazing, die attach, wedge-wedge bonding, and gap welding.
  • Ability to support testing for electrical changes performed for tuning purposes.
  • Understanding of material behavior such as thermal fatigue and solder creep.

("Stellant" or "the Company"), a portfolio company of Arlington Capital Partners, for approximately $960 million in cash, including certain tax benefits. Stellant, headquartered in Torrance, California, is a leading global designer and manufacturer of high-power electronic components and subsystems serving the aerospace and defense end market. The Company's products are highly engineered, proprietary components with substantial aftermarket content and a strong presence across major aerospace and defense platforms. Approximately 50% of Stellant's revenue is derived from the aftermarket, and nearly all its revenue is generated from proprietary products. Stellant is expected to generate approximately $300 million in revenue for the calendar year ending December 31, 2025.
