Ariel generates revenue through management fees based on the assets it manages and performance fees linked to the success of its investment portfolios. What sets Ariel Investments apart from its competitors is its contrarian investment strategy, which involves selecting stocks that are currently out of favor in the market but possess strong intrinsic value. Additionally, the company prioritizes diversification in both its personnel and investment portfolios to foster long-term financial success.
