Mountain Ridge Capital, an asset-based commercial finance company, has announced the successful exit of a $30 million lending facility provided to a family-owned footwear design company. The borrower has refinanced with a lower-cost bank-led asset-based loan after two years with MRC. The company initially approached MRC to refinance an existing facility whose lender had restricted liquidity post-closing. MRC provided a creative borrowing base structure and additional liquidity, enabling improved financial performance that ultimately qualified the company for bank refinancing. Chief executive officer Craig Winslow said MRC's mission is to provide unique capital solutions to middle-market businesses requiring speed, sophistication and greater liquidity. Mountain Ridge Capital, created in partnership with Arena Investors, targets privately-held, family-owned and private equity-backed businesses requiring transition support.
