Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related area is required.
  • Six to eight years of related experience developing and supporting system integrations is required.
  • Familiarity with data mapping and transformation logic is required.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical problem-solving skills are required.
  • Ability to translate technical specifications into working integrations is required.
  • Knowledge of data security and privacy principles is required.
  • Strong documentation skills are required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is required.
  • Proficiency with Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builders, and Core Connectors is required.
  • Strong understanding of the Workday data model and business processes is required.
  • Experience with XML, XSLT, JSON, REST/SOAP web services, and SFTP is required.
  • Knowledge of database concepts and SQL querying is required.
  • Understanding of HR and payroll business processes is required.
  • Understanding of integration monitoring and error handling processes is required.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell is required.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git is required.
  • Experience with middleware platforms and integration monitoring tools is required.

Responsibilities
  • Develop complex Workday inbound and outbound integrations using Studio, Enterprise Interface Builders, Core Connectors, APIs, and middleware tools.
  • Analyze and optimize integration performance, troubleshoot complex errors, and implement enhancements to improve reliability and scalability.
  • Perform unit and integration testing.
  • Provide break/fix support and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Perform regression testing and monitor integration performance.
  • Provide technical guidance on integration architecture, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with architects on enterprise integration strategies.
  • Translate functional and technical specifications into integration solutions.
  • Maintain technical documentation, data mappings, and interface specifications.
  • Ensure integrations adhere to data quality, security, and privacy standards.
  • Support audits and validation processes.
  • Support monitoring, incident resolution, and regression testing.
  • Lead resolution of high-severity production issues and deployment activities.
  • Work with functional analysts, architects, and vendors to enhance integrations, optimize performance, and support system releases.
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation, enforce integration standards, and ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
