Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
  • A minimum of 3 years directly relevant work experience
  • Track record evaluating existing business reporting solutions, making recommendations, and defining new solutions
  • Ability to concisely present complex information/recommendations in meaningful terms to various audiences
  • Excellent working knowledge and experience with the following: Excel, SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, Data visualization, and Business Analysis
  • A deep understanding of how to use data to drive decisions and communicate business needs effectively
  • Demonstrated experience in allocation planning and understanding of financial, product and inventory planning
  • Curiosity, ability to listen, and attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of merchandise, consumer, and FOP as it relates to Nike Direct strategy
Responsibilities
  • Drive the solving of complex data problems for the Allocation function demonstrating analytical and statistical rigor
  • Maximize analytics return on investment, driving scalable data architecture, and delivering data products to enhance decision making across Nike’s Allocation functions
  • Translate complex business problem statements into analysis requirements and work with internal customers to define data product details based on expressed partner needs
  • Document systems/analytics solutions to the business, translating complex functionality into business relevant language
  • Support end-to-end analysis to inform product strategy, data architecture and reporting decisions
  • Drive adoption of and socialize the data products with end users through user training
  • Support standard methodologies in reporting and analysis: data integrity, unit testing, data quality control, system integration testing, modelling, validation, and documentation
  • Develop a strong understanding of Allocation and X-Functional business needs and create partnerships that deliver business solutions
