New direct-to-patient home sleep testing workflow aims to scale clinic capacity.

New direct-to-patient home sleep testing workflow aims to scale clinic capacity. A newly launched diagnostic model handles device shipping and patient support, allowing practitioners to focus on clinical interpretation and program growth. Key takeaways: * EnsoData's new direct-to-patient service offers up to 7 nights of testing to mitigate night-to-night variability. * AI-scored results are generated in minutes, featuring a 1 to 5-day turnaround from order to results. * The model eliminates device handling for clinics while allowing them to interpret studies and control billing workflows. EnsoData recently released EnsoHST Direct, a fully managed diagnostic workflow that enables practitioners to scale testing capacity without buying or managing devices. The service uses EnsoHST devices and ships directly to the patient, providing setup and support. To help mitigate night-to-night variability, up to 7 nights of testing are available. Following each test, patients receive an in-app notification either confirming a successful study or prompting them to test for an additional night, which helps deliver a 97% patient success rate, according to the company. Once the testing period is complete, artificial intelligence-scored results are generated in minutes. According to the company, these results offer high clinical precision, including 92% sensitivity for sleep apnea, 100% specificity for moderate CSA, +/-1 mean eAHI, and a 5.5-minute average difference between EnsoHST total sleep time and PSG. Overall turnaround time is 1 to 5 days from order date to results date. While EnsoData handles the logistics and device management, the sleep practice or lab processes patient payment. The company notes that providers should choose this model if they want to: * Eliminate device handling and shipping logistics * Remove patient setup burden from your staff * Interpret studies yourself * Control billing workflows * Scale without hiring additional team members * Accelerate testing without increasing internal complexity "Our primary goal with EnsoHST Direct is to eliminate the operational friction that has historically capped the growth of home sleep testing programs while finally making multi-night diagnostics accessible," says Bobby Cockrill, MBA, chief commercial officer at EnsoData. "By taking the entire burden of shipping, device management, and patient support off the clinic's shoulders, Medqor Llc. is empowering healthcare providers to focus on what matters most: clinical interpretation and patient care. "This fully managed, end-to-end workflow allows sleep programs and health systems to overcome the clinical limitations of single-night testing and capture a true longitudinal picture of a patient's sleep health, while scaling testing capacity without adding internal headcount or complexity."
