Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Laws or Master of Laws degree, or relevant contract management experience.
  • Four years of experience with a legal degree, or six years of relevant contract management experience.
  • In-depth experience preparing, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contract types and contract processes.
  • Ability to identify legal risk in various contract types.
  • Ability to explain business implications and convey legal positions clearly.
  • Experience working within cross-functional or global teams of contracting or procurement professionals.
  • Skills in internal stakeholder management, data and information management, category management, process review, project management, performance reporting, contract negotiations, contract modifications, contract performance and reporting, key performance indicators, dashboard reporting, performance analytics, category strategies, process improvements, program and project management, supplier analysis and selection, supply chain execution, client management, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Stakeholder management, cross-team collaboration, written and verbal communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, supplier analysis, supplier diversity, and supplier management.
  • Experience responding to inquiries regarding contract obligations and redlines or revisions.
  • Ability to work in a results-driven team whose members are located across different geographies.
  • Strong client management skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Word.
Responsibilities
  • Draft and negotiate contracts based on client templates in a timely manner, using appropriate legal support to ensure compliance with client standards.
  • Coordinate and perform contract analysis, including redlines and negotiations with client legal stakeholders, other stakeholders, and suppliers.
  • Negotiate business terms and explain the risks and implications of contract terms to business stakeholders.
  • Complete gap analyses, review and redline contracts, and understand contract language, risks, and implications.
  • Draft commercial terms as needed.
  • Prepare and disseminate information regarding contract status, compliance, and modifications while partnering with cross-functional teams to maintain effective contracting procedures and adherence to regional and global category strategies.
  • Consult and escalate positioning issues that are not resolved satisfactorily by the project team.
  • Follow written guidelines and client policies and obtain required subject-matter-expert input, including for privacy, finance, taxation, customs and trade, information security, systems quality, and software asset management.
  • Manage multiple projects independently, resolve negotiation issues promptly, escalate as appropriate, and push deals through execution.
  • Manage projects within proprietary or client workflow tools to document each step of the contract formation process.
  • Maintain and facilitate records, including updates, amendments, and archiving of inactive contracts according to client schedules and requests.
  • Enable contract content and load contracts or agreements according to schedules and approved client requests.

  • Technology-utilization experience.
  • Experience with contract reporting, including tracking contract totals, suppliers under contract, and other indicators to assess progress and effectiveness of the contract function.
  • Experience drafting agreements in information technology, marketing, professional services, facilities, or maintenance, repair, and operations areas.

Accenture drops LearnVantage focus, shifts $9B to cybersecurity and mid-market expansion

Accenture is shifting its growth strategy, de-emphasising LearnVantage, a learning and training business it built and promoted heavily in 2024. The company mentioned LearnVantage only once on its June 2026 earnings call, listing it amongst AI enablers rather than highlighting it as a standalone growth driver. Meanwhile, Accenture is redirecting resources toward cybersecurity, which has grown from $700 million in fiscal 2016 to $10 billion in fiscal 2025. The company is acquiring a majority stake in an operational technology security specialist, alongside two smaller firms, combining them into a platform for critical infrastructure. These assets generate $208 million in annual recurring revenue, growing at 48%. Accenture's acquisition budget for fiscal 2026 is approximately $9 billion against $73.1 billion in trailing twelve-month revenue. Accenture acquires Dutch SAP partner McCoy to boost mid-market AI and ERP capabilities

Accenture has agreed to acquire McCoy, a Dutch SAP transformation partner specialising in mid-market companies. Upon closing, McCoy will join Accenture Edge, the firm's mid-market business serving companies with annual revenues between $300 million and $3 billion. Founded in 2012, McCoy operates from the Netherlands with offices in Spain and the Philippines. The company employs over 380 professionals who design, implement and manage SAP solutions across ERP, data and business applications. McCoy holds SAP Gold Partner status and serves clients in high-tech, manufacturing, public sector, utilities and retail. The acquisition will strengthen Accenture Edge's position in the EMEA mid-market whilst expanding SAP modernisation capabilities in the Netherlands. The deal is subject to regulatory approvals. Financial terms were not disclosed.
