Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
  • OR Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
  • OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
  • Solid expertise in 3GPP system security architecture, in particular 5G and 6G System principles, security Protocols, etc.
  • Good understanding of wireless radio technology principles related to security.
  • Experience in wireless security system design is essential.
  • Global travel several times per year for standards organization forums.
Responsibilities
  • Participate in team design activities, studying security-related design issues related to the latest 3GPP system features.
  • Work on innovative solutions to security-related design issues.
  • Develop technical contributions for 3GPP SA3 and present them in 3GPP.
  • Work to obtain consensus and promote Qualcomm wireless technologies.
  • Collaborate with different teams within the company, including research projects and product groups.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in 3GPP working groups is preferable, especially in SA3.
  • A good understanding of key business concepts and being able to relate this to various business strategies for both Qualcomm and others in the industry is also a plus.
