The purpose of the renewable energy internship position is to develop college students that are pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, business or a similar field. Interns will be exposed to a variety of projects and activities that occur within the energy business. Interns will have the opportunity to apply knowledge and skills learned in college and demonstrate abilities in the workplace.

Must be a college student, sophomore or higher standing, currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master’s degree program in engineering, business or related field

Prior utility or energy industry experience helpful but not required

Solid computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Effective project management skills

Effective analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete projects within tight deadlines

Employment is contingent upon passing a post-offer background check and drug screen

Must be available to work June 2026-August 2026

Supports all activities associated with the development and construction of new renewable generation projects

Assists with evaluation and due diligence on potential investments, acquisitions and other business evaluations and performs research

Develops and maintains reports, presentations, project schedules and plans, and tracks project financials, invoicing and development and construction status of projects

Assists in the preparation of contracts, permit applications, regulatory filings and other activities necessary to ensure regulatory compliance

Analyze financial models; provide summary of information to development team on analysis

Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
