  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Post-secondary education is an asset.
  • Exceptional English communication skills, both orally and in writing, are required.
  • The employee may be required to obtain and maintain current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the daily staffing of the Nursing Department.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, and other staff members.
  • Coordinate Nursing Department staffing and scheduling needs, including replacing staff on a daily call-in basis.
  • Update staffing changes on the master schedule and daily compliments.
  • Obtain approval for overtime work from the Director of Care.
  • Maintain attendance and absenteeism reports.
  • Communicate recurrent absenteeism to the Director of Care.
