Job Description
The Retail Account Manager position is a new hire within the Commerce team in the agency and aimed at delivering best-in-class online retail strategy and uncovering growth opportunities. The successful applicant will have strong communication, and presentation skills, and contribute to solving client business problems in a matrixed organisation. This role will work across a mix of high-profile clients across multiple categories such as FMCG, electronics and beauty.
We’re looking for somebody with experience in campaign management, with an understanding of eCommerce and data insights. Experience or interest in social commerce is a plus. The role involves assessing challenges, offering innovative solutions, and effectively communicating these to a client audience alongside the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Commerce team and Account Director on your account by responding to briefs, making strategic suggestions, reporting, and presenting to the clients.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for retailers, share with the wider team to incorporate into strategic decisions that will help the client improve their performance.
- Work closely with internal data teams to understand customer preferences and behaviours, leveraging data insights to enhance the overall shopping experience.
- Stay abreast of social commerce industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats.
- Conduct regular market research and analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Experience within a retail media OR retail strategy position in an agency is preferred
- Experience with activation and planning experience across Amazon, Criteo or Citrus Ads
- Experience in Search or Display in retail platforms would be considered
- Experience or knowledge of paid social commerce or paid social is a bonus
- Knowledge of the media landscape, media channels and key commerce partners
- Able to build presentations and responses for our clients
- You need to have great communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
