Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification required.
  • Minimum of 6-10 years of relevant experience, including Big 4 audit experience and working in a startup environment.
  • Extensive experience with the Order to Cash (O2C) process.
  • In-depth knowledge of ASC 606 and other revenue recognition standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end Order to Cash (O2C) process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements focused but not limited to revenue.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, legal, and operations, to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition.
  • Analyze and interpret complex contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment in accordance with ASC 606.
  • Lead the implementation and optimization of revenue accounting processes and systems.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and key KPI analysis.
  • Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors and other parties to provide necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Develop and maintain revenue accounting policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to internal controls and best practices.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed, including system upgrades and process improvements.
