About the Role
Uber Advertising division spearheads the growth of our advertising business. By building a dedicated advertising organisation and a suite of advertising products, Uber Advertising will enable merchants and brands to reach and convert its highly engaged user base across its Mobility and Delivery platforms in 32 markets.
As a Client Partner in the CPG vertical, you will be responsible for helping to develop our partnerships with the largest CPG brands in the UK to drive growth. You will drive ads sales partnerships and adoption of an expanding suite of ads offerings across our Mobility and Delivery platforms.
What you will do
- Advertising Sales engaging with Agency and Client Direct to design and execute effective ad sales strategies
- Outreach in the market to drive adoption of Uber Ads
- Foster deeper engagement with key stakeholders at agencies and client organisations through communication, strategic partnerships, and a commitment to providing value-driven results
- Act as a strategic advisor for clients, ensuring their growth aligns with Uber’s business goals
- Create data-driven solutions and strategic roadmaps to support partner growth
- Drive cross-collaboration and alignment with internal stakeholders, promoting shared goals and deliver on key business initiatives
- Lead engagement with decision-makers at agencies, clients, and third-party partners to align strategies, influence key decisions, and promote collaborative efforts
Qualifications Required
- 6+ years experience in CPG/FMCG, agency or media vendors
- Strong understanding of digital media, brand marketing & full funnel
- In-depth knowledge of the industry, including key trends, challenges, and opportunities that impact advertising strategies
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to build and maintain client relationships and close deals
- Sense of urgency, resourcefulness, and a go-getter mentality. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and navigating ambiguity
- Ability to employ creative thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate complex client needs and develop innovative advertising solutions
- Proven skills in negotiation and deal-making, showcasing value creation and innovative solutions
- Familiarity with Uber’s Mobility and Delivery platforms or similar industries
- While experience in a start up advertising ecosystems/scaling products in a global organization experience is preferred, it is not essential
- Understanding/background of performance marketing is a bonus
